There are 2 huge discount shopping outlets close by, one just outside Sarasota and a new complex near Naples offering over 300 different retail outlets. There are also many local specialist shops and nearby supermarkets.
Rotonda is a great base to explore all areas of Florida, providing easy access to the neighbouring islands of Gasparilla, Bocca Grande, Don Pedro, Sanibel, Cayo Costa and to the Everglades, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Tampa and Orlando.
